Terms and Conditions of Service

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services, including professional dry cleaning, laundry services, clothing alterations and repairs, wedding dress cleaning and preservation, suede and leather cleaning, curtain and furnishing cleaning, and specialist garment care. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting items to The Pressing Perfectionist for service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our services.
2. Service Description
The Pressing Perfectionist provides a range of garment care services. We strive to provide the highest quality service. While we use professional care techniques, we are not responsible for inherent defects in materials or due to prior treatment of articles.
3. Garment Care and Responsibility

All items are processed at customer's risk. We exercise utmost care in cleaning and processing articles entrusted to us. However, we cannot guarantee against colour loss, shrinkage, or damage to weak or tender fabrics, buttons, buckles, beads, sequins, or any other ornamentation.

Customers are advised to check all garments for personal items before submission. We are not responsible for items left in clothing (e.g., pens, money, jewellery, etc.).

The Pressing Perfectionist will follow care label instructions. If there is no care label or explicit instructions from the customer, we will use our professional judgment, but we are not liable for any resulting damage in such cases.

For delicate items like wedding dresses, suede, leather, and specialist garments, specific handling and processing methods are employed. While we take every precaution, some inherent risks remain, and customers acknowledge this.
4. Damaged or Lost Items

In the rare event that an item is damaged or lost while in our care, The Pressing Perfectionist's liability for damaged or lost items shall not exceed ten (10) times the charge for cleaning that item, up to a maximum of £200, whichever is less, regardless of brand or condition. This compensation will be based on the depreciated value of the item, not its replacement cost.

Claims for lost or damaged items must be reported within 48 hours of collection. All claims must be accompanied by the original receipt.

We are not responsible for damage to items that are not suitable for the selected cleaning method, or where the damage is due to inherent flaws, age, or wear.
5. Collection and Unclaimed Items

Items must be collected within three (3) months from the date of drop-off. After this period, The Pressing Perfectionist reserves the right to dispose of uncollected items without notification, and no refunds or compensation will be provided.

Customers must present their original collection receipt when picking up items.
6. Pricing and Payment

Prices for our services are displayed in our premises and on our online platform. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time upon notice to you, which may be provided by posting the updated prices on our site or within our premises.

Payment is due upon collection of items unless otherwise agreed. We accept various forms of payment as indicated at our premises.
7. Alterations and Repairs
For alterations and repairs, The Pressing Perfectionist aims for precision and quality. Once a repair or alteration has been agreed upon and completed, we are not liable for subsequent changes in fit or style preferences of the customer. Any re-alterations will incur additional charges.
8. Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. Any personal information you provide to us will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to such processing and you warrant that all data provided by you is accurate.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

The Pressing Perfectionist reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
